Text, Paint, Clone, oh my! (Week 10)

The first picture is a photo from years ago that I put text into for Tom's birthday. I put this as the background on our computer screen. It's silly I know!
The second photo is one that I previously edited using a filter (It was last year so I don't remember which one) but to try the paint tool I thought it would be a good one to work with. I filled in most of the originally black background with a magenta.
The third photo is one that I took a few years ago of a very cool sky outside my apartment in Burlington. I always wanted to clean it up, but did not have the knowledge of how to do so. This was tough! I used the clone stamp tool to slowly and carefully cover up the power lines and street lamp. The hardest part was finding a good area to clone as there are a lot of branches and I wanted it to look natural.
