The first shot is of my condo in the recent storm we had. I took several different shots of this view, some were closer and didn't include the truck, and some were taken with the portrait view instead of the landscape view to try and incorporate the all of the trees. The snow was wet and thick so I struggled with trying to get a shot that didn't have a large blur of snow! I choose this one as my favorite because you can see my entire condo and though I do think the reflector on the bottom right should be photo-shopped out!

Love the bridge and bridge shadow photos!
ReplyDeleteI also love the footbridge and the light/shadow play you captured! The starkness of the Lake Champlain shot is pretty cool too!
ReplyDeleteMurph =)
Wow! Great job on your photos! I really love the simplicity of the shoreline of Lake Champlain. The white against the blue is very nice! The lighting is perfect! The bridge picture is awesome as well! Excellent!
ReplyDeleteThe edge of the bridge does give the picture a balance. I see movement with the rough ice that starts on the right side of the photo and distances off towards the left side of the photo. I also like the bridge shot with your shadow. There are very nice lines within the bridge.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic, I have always liked shadow shots, a very cool idea. the 2nd photo of the huge open plane of show is beautiful.
ReplyDeletelove the shadow shot.
ReplyDeleteAll of these photos are excellent. The first one is interesting because of the colors trying to assert themselves in the overwhelming snow.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the photographs are simply breathtaking. The second one is fabulous with the very simple divide of the trees and horizon. The only suggestion I would have is to pay attention to the horizon in that you need to keep it as level as possible. This can be corrected in Photoshop.
The third one is very well done. Perspective always works well because of the way we understand space and so this allows the viewer to imagine moving through the work. It is nice that you had the sunny day to bring out the best in these works.
