Variety in Lighting (Week 4)

I chose to take a picture of the view behind my condo that overlooks a large intersection. I thought it would be cool to use this scene because the backdrop has an abundance of trees and a subtle mountain outline so you can see how the different light reflects on a variety of different objects.
The first shot is in the early afternoon on a bright, sunny day.
The second shot is in the late afternoon on a very overcast, gloomy day.
The third shot is in the early evening as the sun is setting on a clear day.

  1. Nice clear colors in the fist photo. I think the bright light in the middle of the photo in the last photo - its eye catching.

  2. I love the fact that the photo also looks like it's from three different times of the season! This Vermont winter has been a bit fickle huh? The effect of the bright sunlight in the trees is pretty cool...

  5. I like the first photo the best. Maybe because it looks like it's closer to summer.
